March Madness is Back!!

The NCAA tournament is back this year and will be held in Indiana and almost entirely in Indianapolis within the stadiums: Lucas Oil Stadium, Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indiana Farmers Coliseum, Hinkle Fieldhouse, Mackey Arena in West Lafayette and Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington.

There are some changes this year due to Covid-19. Typically, bracketing decisions for the preliminary rounds are based mostly on the schools’ geographic proximity to hosting sites. This year, however Due to Covid-19, the teams are staying in Indiana to limit travel, so geography is not a factor. The bracket will be determined in large part by the overall seed list. The facilities are also limiting capacity to 25% for fans.

 

The best part of March Madness in my opinion are the upsets. Here is the list of top Cinderella teams to look out for by bleacher report: 

  1. Boise State Broncos

  2. St.Louis Bilikens

  3. Drake Bull dogs

  4. Winthrop Eagles
